About the typing tool

Stylish Text is the fastest way to audition a phrase across ten distinct typographic moods: neon, chrome, sunset gradient, outline, letterpress, vintage serif, spaced mono, and more. The tool is intentionally narrow — it doesn't try to be a full design surface, it tries to give you a thumbnail-quality answer in one keystroke.

If a particular style catches your eye, click through to the full Generators section to see expanded presets, or browse the font library to find the underlying typeface and see other faces that share its mood. Every style here is built from open-source fonts — nothing is locked behind a paywall.

Stylish text is a useful first move when you're block-staring at a layout and you don't yet know what voice your headline wants. Try the same phrase in three or four styles, look at the screenshots side by side, and trust your gut. Vintage display typography is allergic to indecision.
