Type pairing is a contrast game: a display face for the headline needs a quieter, more structured companion for body copy and captions, and two faces from the same category rarely earn their keep side by side. Pick a candidate headline face in the left pane, then cycle the right pane through a few text/sans/serif options until the verdict below stops warning you about a clash.
Every option here comes straight from the same 1929-font library you can browse in full at Fonts or filter by mood at Eras. Once you've settled on a pair, open each face's detail page for weight counts, designer credit, and download links.
